Withdrawing your crypto to a bank account: the steps

Prepare the transition from your crypto to a bank receipt: starting point, network, quote, deposit, and payment tracking.

The short answer

To receive your crypto into a bank account, you must first sell it for a currency, then arrange the payout. If your balance is already in euros on a platform, use its bank withdrawal: you do not need to reconvert that balance into crypto.

01

Distinguish your crypto from a balance already in euros

If your funds are already in euros on a platform, check its bank withdrawal journey: a new crypto conversion is not necessary. If you hold cryptos, identify their asset and network. From a personal wallet as from a platform, the recipient's instructions must exactly match the prepared transfer.

The next step depends on what you already hold

02

Gather information before starting

Start by identifying the crypto you hold and the network from which your wallet can send it. Then prepare the country, currency, and recipient account details. This information must match a combination available in the calculator; the catalog alone does not guarantee that a path is active.

  • Source crypto and network.
  • Amount actually available after sending fees.
  • Account holder and payout account details.
03

Review the quote before creating the exchange

The quote gathers the converted value, service fees and expected net amount. Take time to compare them with your expectations, then check the payout method. The quote expires after 120 seconds: if this time passes, a new request may produce a different amount before your confirmation.

04

Send from this exchange's instructions

Once logged in, confirm the details to create the exchange and obtain its reference. Send only when its page displays active deposit instructions. Compare the full address, network and amount in your wallet. If verification is required, the instructions remain hidden and you must suspend the sending.

05

Keep records of each step

After sending, keep the transaction identifier and consult the exchange tracking. Detection, confirmations and manual processing correspond to different steps. When a payment is recorded, note its external reference and then reconcile it with your destination account. Download the summary to find the operation information later.

Points to check

  • I know the asset and network of my funds.
  • I have compared the net conversion amount and possible external fees.
  • I have verified the beneficiary account and the exchange instructions before any sending.

Questions about this guide

Can bitcoins be sent directly to an IBAN?

The IBAN identifies a bank account; it is not a Bitcoin address. In this process, cryptos are sent to the exchange's deposit address, then the bank payment uses the beneficiary's details. Never copy an IBAN into a crypto address field.

Do I have to transfer my crypto to another service?

No. If your platform already offers selling and a bank withdrawal compatible with your account, examine that journey first. Compare its net amount, terms, and fees with those of an external transfer.

Does estimating the value of my cryptos create an exchange?

No. An indicative converter calculates a market value. A sale quote details a time-limited proposal. Creating the exchange is a separate step after login and validation of the requested information.
