What ClearFiat is doing to keep the site usable with a keyboard, a magnifier and a screen reader, and what still needs to be improved.
Our commitment
A service that handles your money must remain usable whatever your hardware or your way of browsing. ClearFiat aims for level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, a standard incorporated in European standard EN 301 549. This statement describes the actual state of the site, including what is not yet satisfactory.
Compliance status
The site has not been the subject of an accessibility audit carried out by an independent external body. The checks carried out are internal and automated: keyboard navigation, contrasts, field labels, heading structure and announcements of state changes. We therefore speak of partial compliance, and we do not claim any certification.
Keyboard navigation
Menus, buttons, fields and links can be reached using the Tab key, in reading order. Focus remains visible on the active element. A skip link placed at the top of the page leads directly to the content, and the Esc key closes open menus.
Reading comfortably
Browser zoom can be used up to 200% without loss of content, and the site adapts to narrow screens. Long pages have a table of contents. Search accepts words with or without accents. No information is conveyed by colour alone.
Understanding where you are
The statuses of an exchange are written out in full rather than indicated by an icon or a colour. Error messages name the field concerned and what needs to be corrected. Search results and confirmations are announced in a region that screen readers can interpret.
Known limitations
Some content remains open to improvement, and we point this out rather than pass over it in silence.
- No external audit or testing with people with disabilities has yet been carried out.
- The countdown for the validity of a quotation imposes a reading pace; it may hinder slow navigation.
- The translations into the 14 languages other than French are automatic and have not been proofread.
- The comparison tables in the guides scroll horizontally on small screens.
Report a difficulty
If a page blocks you, write to us indicating its address, your device, your browser and any assistive technology you may use, as well as the action you were unable to complete. We will reply through the same channel and offer you an alternative solution until it is corrected.
If you are not satisfied with the reply
You may refer the matter to the competent authority in your country of residence responsible for equal treatment and digital accessibility. This statement does not restrict any of your rights and does not replace a decision by such an authority.
