Network guide

Choose the network compatible with your crypto

Understand why the name of an asset is not enough and check compatibility before each send.

Updated on 4 September 2026·Product documentation

The short answer

Choose the network accepted by both your sending wallet and the deposit instructions. The USDT, USDC or ETH symbol and the appearance of the address are not enough to confirm this compatibility. If there is any discrepancy, do not send.

01

Read the asset name and network together

A crypto can be offered on several networks, with different possibilities depending on your wallet and the receiving service. Identify both pieces of information together: selecting a token does not automatically select the right network. The choice must exactly match the one that will be used in your wallet's send screen.

02

Check availability at the time of request

The catalog presents the assets and networks known to the service, while the calculator shows those available for a request. A network may remain unavailable if its operating conditions are not met. Read the displayed reason and check the status page before preparing a transfer.

03

Check the address on the wallet's final screen

Copy the address from the relevant exchange, then verify the full address in your wallet. The QR code facilitates this entry but does not exempt you from comparing the network, asset, and recipient. A familiar-looking or previously used address does not prove its compatibility with the new deposit instructions.

  • Compare the full address, not just its first characters.
  • Check the network selected in the wallet.
  • Review the amount that will arrive after any sending fees.
04

Reacting to an inconsistency before or after sending

If any information does not match, stop the preparation and reopen the instructions from your account. If the sending has already left, keep its identifier, the network used and the destination address. The possibility of recovery depends on the situation and cannot be promised; do not make a second transfer to correct spontaneously.

Points to check

  • The asset matches the instructions exactly, without confusing native ETH and token.
  • The network is identical in the exchange and in the sending wallet.
  • The full address, the amount received and the deadline have been re-read on the final screen.

Questions about this guide

Does an address starting with 0x prove that the network is correct?

No. Several EVM-compatible networks use this format and a wallet can keep the same address on multiple chains. This does not prove that the service accepts the chosen chain, nor that it can track the token sent. Check the network name in the instructions.

Can I choose another network because its fees are lower?

Only if a separate route for this network is actually offered and its own deposit instructions have been obtained. Do not change the network of an already prepared exchange while keeping its address.

Is a small test send always a good idea?

Not on an exchange that expects a precise amount. A partial deposit may trigger a review and does not automatically validate a second send. Follow the operation's instructions; if in doubt, suspending the send is preferable to an improvised test.
